Meta New method for extracting metas?

Just found this interesting item elsewhere which may be worth further investigation:-

There was a card without meta
I opened in the map Mexico_980_7900 with notepad the file trafic.dat
    This is what i saw:

    NAVTRAFFIC
    NTna2
    101102103104105106107108110111112113114115116117118119120121122125126129133832C09C23C24C27C28C30C31C34C35F36

I used the last 16 pairs of digits (see below in bold) 101102103104105106107108110111112113114115116117118119120121122125126129133832C09C23C24C27C28C30C31C34C35F36

i have placed spaces between digits (see below)
    32 C0 9C 23 C2 4C 27 C2 8C 30 C3 1C 34 C3 5F 36

    Now i created a Meta.txt (see below)

    ; Mexico v980.7900
    32 C0 9C 23 C2 4C 27 C2 8C 30 C3 1C 34 C3 5F 36 Mexico-100938.meta

fastactivate told me that meta is ok!
Map Mexico with self created meta now running fine

    and then:-

I have examined traffic.dat in other maps
They all look different and have no combinations as in the traffic.dat file in mexico map.
So the tric does not work in all maps

Same string in the traffic.dat of Mexico_Zone_980_7896, but known code of this map no similarities with this string.

Edit: traffic.dat of Central_and_Eastern_Europe_980_7895 has such string like the Mexico-maps (other digits), but created meta don't work

Allright i don't have that map but I believe you on you're word.
I've tried it in map Mexico_980_7900 that is working fine on my tomtom 920!

EDIT: I don't know or it is important but I placed fastactivate.exe and ttgo.bif in the folder from map

Yes that does the tric i have downloaded map Mexico_Zone_980_7896
    original Meta is: 50 68 C2 82 1D DF 29 64 A2 F9 14 68 D6 0C B7 21 Mexico_Zone-100934.meta

    I've deleted the Meta.txt
Now i've tried to create a Meta.txt with the last digits from trafic.dat

    ; Mexico_Zone v980.7896
    32 C0 9C 23 C2 4C 27 C2 8C 30 C3 1C 34 C3 5F 36 Mexico_Zone-100934.meta

I activated map with fastactivate, that works fine
Then i deleted the Meta.txt file
I create a new one with blowfish it is similair as the Meta.txt I created

Conclusion this tric works fine when you place: fastactivate.exe, ttgo.bif and Updated_meta.txt in the folder from map.
After that proces you can remove the 3 files. I have it succesfully tested on 2 maps

I have check the meta-code from #1 with map Mexico_980_7900: Sorry, but this don't work (Boot loop as with a wrong or fake code). And i know, how to activating a map.
Never ever a High-level-map like Mexico_Zone_980_7896 can be activated with the same code of the Low-Level-map (or vice versa). Compare the file sizes of their *.meta!

Time for a new experiment. I have tried next I created a Meta.txt file in folder from map: Southeast_Asia_980_7901
I used the meta code: 32 C0 9C 23 C2 4C 27 C2 8C 30 C3 1C 34 C3 5F 36 that i also have used for the 2 mexico maps. Only what i have changed is first rule: ; Southeast_Asia v980.7901 & Southeast_Asia-100939.meta behind the 32 digits when i run fastactivate, fatsactivate says that meta is ok. See below the Meta i created in folder Southeast_Asia_980_7901. With this Meta.txt file fastactivate created the file Southeast_Asia-100939.meta.dct and also my Southeast Asia map is activated.

    ; Southeast_Asia v980.7901
    32 C0 9C 23 C2 4C 27 C2 8C 30 C3 1C 34 C3 5F 36 Southeast_Asia-100939.meta

All 3 maps i activated working fine on my device: tomtom 920.

    Strange i have right now 3 maps activated with the string: 32 C0 9C 23 C2 4C 27 C2 8C 30 C3 1C 34 C3 5F 36
    See my post about: Southeast_Asia_980_7901

When you put a meta code inside the meta.txt file for the map you want, fastactivate detects as good. That does not mean that the activation works well, it just means that the code is present.

Try this string in your meta.txt:

    ; Mexico v980.7900
TH IS IS ST UP ID TO OX TH IS IS ST UP ID TO OX Mexico-100938.meta

With that string fastactivate also says ok

How many maps do you have on Go 920?
Are you sure you change the map you already had on the Go 920?

(Attention my string is a fake)

Same by Map : Which Version : 895 or 980 i see in a Screenshot ? I think, More than 10 people must try this way with many Maps, and the TE maybe make a little YT Video for us......
