    Default Old TomTom One.

Hi all, new to the forum.

Years ago I managed to update the maps on an old TomTom of mine which I later dropped and smashed.

I've just bought another old TomTom One off ebay and just want to confirm that I'm going to find maps for it ok?

    It's version 8.010.

Reason I'm asking is that it's not showing much on compatibility charts?

    Cheers.

    Thanks for the replies.

I'm struggling with this a lot more than I did with my last TomTom all those years ago.

You're right about the 1gb space. I currently have Western Europe maps but never going to take it abroad so happy to go for the smaller sized UK maps.

I'm confused as to why I can't find METAs for any of the compatible maps I'm seeing on here?

My current map is version 825 from year 2009!
I'm not bothered about having the very latest map, but looking at any older versions on here all download links are now dead.
I'd be happy with any map from 2014 / 2015. Anything is better than what I've currently got lol.

No one is able to crack TomTom encryption (yet), so we are relying on people who bought the map and sharing the meta key. You got TTS working on your TomTom One?

    help

    Dear All,

I did follow the tutorial and updated my TomTom XL accordingly. I now have TT_Bootloader_5.5128, NavCore_8562 and latest maps.

Maps, Speedcameras etc. work perfect. However, the voices are not recognized. Therefore, I do not have any audio.

What can I do to obtain audio again. I tried different voices as well as "Loquendo".

    Thanks for your comments/ suggestions.

Hello here Normally voices should be in a folder called "voices" in the root of your device/SD card [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
