It would help if you told us what model your are trying to update and what you wanted, new map (of which region), speedcameras, voices etc etc but, the basics are here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and everything else you need is here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I doubt you'll find anyone with the time to talk things through with you when many of us have already spent a long time creating the tutorials etc

ive seen the tutorials theyre all over.
Its a tomtom START ? i think, like even the product has a hard time informing the user waht model it is, but i think i found a loophole on the navigation that and found that the following model of start is a 9.0x

i want central or westerneurope, anything that includes Denmark.
as for everything else, i dont care about voices etc whichever one is preinstalled is just fine.

basically, thats it, i dont know which map i need to download specifically, i dont know how to install it? when i tried to install a map, the entire thing was well over 1 gb which there was no way space for on the device. so i didnt get any farther than that. Just been lurking and i have got no clue about everything that is said. cause it sounds like it isnt applicable to my product.

    Thanks for ur reply however.
looking forward for more help if possible.

In these devices you have to put expanded menu (folder Sdk Registry) to configure the radar.

edit: i got everything to work. what i did was i downloaded the navcore u linked, (really needed someone to tell me this, but i extracted the navcore, and merged it into the tomtom) and then deleted the preexisting map on the tomtom, and created a map with one of the maps u linked, and used the fastactivate to patch basically everything. i assume.

Okay so so far i put the fastactivate into the tomtom internal memory folder after connecting it to my pc.

on the menu of the fastactivate GUI i clicked update map and navcore, having no idea what i did basically, but it didnt change much.
