Default Go730 - worth replacing the battery??

Bought a second hand Go730 and it's been working great for a couple of years.
Lately however, the battery seems to be going flat pretty fast. Not usually a problem as it's usually plugged into the charger.

However, will be off travelling through Europe in a couple of months and was thinking perhaps I should replace the battery - just in case.

YouTube has a few instructional videos around replacing the TomTom battery, but looks complicated.

Anyone tried it?? Is it worth the hassle??

It's definitely worth, because a dead battery can damage the charging unit inside the Go930. Don't waite to long!
It's not verry difficult, but also not for rough hands. The only importend things are the connector for the flex-cable (be careful when opening the clamp!) and the black glue from the battery.
You must carefully warming the battery/circuit board e.g. with a hairdryer and detach the battery with "careful violent". Use a non-metallic blade as lever, but don't damage the circuit board (scratching, breaking)!
For the new battery use double-sided adhesive tape.

Please, no reply with full-quote, not even for stupid people, who have already forgotten the previous post.
