    ?

Would anyone be able to tell me what might be causing a ONE XL (32mb) issue?
    I have Northern_US_and_Canada_965_7283 installed.
    Navcore is 9.510.2-2039.CAB-navcore-LE.
    Bootloaderversion=5.3026.
    The newest Fast Activate (5/23/16).

Operation of unit works fine when when connected to Win7 computer running Tom Tom Home 2.9.
Disconnected from computer and on it's own however, is another story...
After Legal notice intro screen and "welcome to tom tom one xl" appears, I hit "I agree"...
Map loads and I an can access lower left hand side of screen for volume control and lower right hand side of screen for status summary.
But as soon as I touch anywhere on the map itself, the screen fades slightly and then the whole unit freezes.
Then it reboots...automatically and the whole cycle starts over again.
I have tried everything to the best of my ability to try and get this to work..but it freezes with any map I put in it.
I let the unit connect to Tom Tom for all the newest GPS fixes, etc. But still same thing.
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?

UPDATE: changed my boot loader system file to the appropriate 5.5136 but hasn't helped the screen from freezing.
Moderator thank you for moving my post to the proper section

Why are you posting a totally irrelevant query in a thread clearly titled "How to Officially install Truck Navcore on Go 720, 730, 920, 930 via Home" and in the Tutorials section?

suggest moderators move this to the appropriate section here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Thank you for your suggestion but as far as I can tell, there never was any SdkRegistry in the root of this device.
I inserted the files in the root and removed the file calibP for my 16:9 screen. I then renamed the remaining file calib.
I restarted the device but no calibration tool popped up on boot up...and my device continues to freeze when I try to access any functions touching the map.
Funny that zoom and wide functions still work, although they are not shown on my map as "+" or "-" but as tiny little squares in the upper left and right corner of the screen.
As I drive around, the map follows me but as soon as I try to access any functions...it's freeze city.

Replying to my own post in the hope that this video will provide better example of tomtom one xl malfunction.
Any ideas on how to fix?

    This unit was formatted previously.
What files could a format remove that can't be replaced?

Use a NC for 32 MB-devices ( e.g. SE NC 9.5xx), not the "original" NC for the 64-MB-devices! And please don't format your device to hell, deleting is enough in 99,99%.

Try this one: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Delete all files and folders without the file ttgo.bif and the folder "LoquendoTTS" (if exist) and the map-folder, then copy the content of the archive to your XL. English voices (Jane & Tim) included. NC is already patched! Nothing to do, it will running with your activated map Northern_US_and_Canada_965_7283.

    Thank you for suggestion.
Deleted all files except ttgo.bif file (only one) and the folder "LoquendoTTS" and the Northern_US_and_Canada_965_7283 map-folder. Installed new NC. Powered down and disconnected unit from PC. On first boot, unit froze on IQ splash screen. Hit reset since main power button would not turn it off. Reconnected to PC and restarted. No updates available in TomTom Home. However, unit was operable within Win7 PC. Installed new FastActivate anyway. Updated new meta file, patched maps, voices, speedcams. NC already patched as you said. Patched Home. Ran RunMeForCode, Updated QuickGPSfix, Ran Mobile Activation. No Errors anywhere! Powered down unit. Unplugged from PC. Restart Unit and freezes on TomTom IQ Splash screen again. Hit reset...and the cycle continues.
Should I delete everything and try a fresh reinstall of Map and NC and FastActivate?

No need to install any patch/activating programms on your TomTom, especially not when NC and map already patched/activated.
Use the programm "Clearflash" min. 4-5 times - no data will lost, only the intern memory would cleaned from e.g. corrupt data.
You can find this program as a part of this fabulous patch/activation-tool under his section "Tools": [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
No install on tomtom-device or computer needed, only run in a own folder on your computer, USB-stick ect. with his own GUI.
(The gentle flash-memory formating tool "SDFormatter" also part of the easyusetool_frontend_0520. And the best: a perfect working meta.txt-update, no problems with every new map-releases like some other tools)
If "Clearflash" not eliminating the issues of your device, then save your already activated map to computer and format your tomtom with SDFormatter. Then connect with TT-Home and update to the latest NC, which TT-Home offers you (e.g. NC 8.010, may be need more than one actualisation). With this NC 8.xxx and an small NC8-map (e.g. Chile_965_7252) you test the handling of your TomTom. If the handling of your TomTom-device is ok, you can update to my NC or an other suitable NC9. If handling not ok, i think, you will have a paperweight.
