Tried Chile_965_7252 with NC 8.082.xl2008_t.CAB-navcore-ONEXL and after TTHome updates, then patching with latest FastActivate, i get a red screen "Problem with map: You cannot use this map on this device: Chile."
Oddly enough, I get this error after patching any Cdn map, except for Northern_US_and_Canada_965_7283 map, which continually freezes when tapping on area of map screen.
I clear flash before any installation least 4 times first.
I accept the idea that there is a solution for this unit.

UPDATE: Deleted all files except ttgo.bif and chile map. Installed NC 9.510.2-2039.CAB-navcore-LE. Patched with fastActivate. Now map appears without error but FREEZES when map area is touched - just like with Northern_US_and_Canada_965_7283.
So if old NC cannot find map when patched AND newer NC freezes map when tapped, is it a NC issue? Or a patch issue?

This error message normally means the map has not been activated. Is there a Chile.meta.dct file inside the map folder? If not copy F/A inside the map folder & run it again

This one exists in the map folder: Chile-100656.meta.dct

In that case the map HAS been successfully activated so it's some other problem.

Back to the beginning. It is a screen calibration problem, not a map/navcore problem which is where we came in!!

thank you for suggestion however my current setup does not have an sdkregistry. As such, no calibration screen appears on bootup of device, even though I have placed the calib folders in the root. I somehow have to find an NC which uses sdkregistry then and merge these sdkregistry files then? I'll try that.

I think that ornis tool creates this sdkregistry, see his latest/updated attachment here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If no luck you can always try the old fashioned but tedious method [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

This is not a NC for 32 MB-devices!
I recommended the way over the original NC, because some screen-trouble may correct by this method. Please try again with the first NC which TomTom offers you.
Patch this NC and test the device-handling with the chile map with dct-file included. If device-screen is ok, then try a SE-9.510 NC for 32 mb-devices.
Please, no reply with full-quote, not even for stupid people, who have already forgotten the previous post.
