What about the 940's? I know that they are OK as goes Navcore but can you confirm that they are modifiable, and not hindered by something else?

    Thanks

Yes, the 540/740/940/550/750/950 are all good, run the latest maps/navcore and can get Live Traffic etc (subject to subscription)
540/740/550/750 may be cheaper as they were supplied with smaller maps BUT still have an SD card slot for any maps you want/need

I use a Go 940 Live and I've got no problems at all with updating etc....

Actually l've left the official setup alone on the internal memory but copied it over to a Sandisk class 10 32GB SD card and run it from there, so it's fast and there's plenty of room left for maps, MP3's and files etc

The reason I mention it is because the 940 has a media player that can transmit over a user defined FM frequency which you can tune your car radio to....however the 950 doesn't have that function
