Default TT XL - Touch screen dead ?

    Hi,

When I open my GPS it displays som legalize that I must accept before using it.
When I connect it to my PC it displays "Dou you want to connect Yes/No".

In both cases the touch screen does not react.

Is there a trick to bypass those screens ?
Is there a solution to repair the touch screen ?

    Thanks for any good advice.

There's no way around using the touchscreen, but, sometimes it's as simple as running a business card or similar around under the screen bezel all the way round BUT if that doesn't work it may be worth trying to recalibrate it [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or replacing the screen/digitiser (you can get these on eBay)

    Thanks.
I tried the business card trick, no result.
I cannot use the calibration tool, because I cannot validate the PC connexion and access the GPS storage.

Ouch! Maybe worth buying a new screen/digitiser & trying that, or possibly selling on eBay as "for spares or repairs" & let someone else have the headache?
