Need Help with TOMTOM Via 1430/1435

Im having difficulty updating the v940 maps on my TOMTOM Via 1430/1435

I have downloaded the USA_Canada_940_5963 1.96 GB maps but I don't know what to do next. Im confused how to use FastActivate. By the way, only "My Drive Connect" will work with my GPS. "Tom Tom HOME" is not compatible with this particular GPS.

I hope someone can help me I spent all day working on this but I have gotten nowhere.

I would appreciate any guidance.

TOMTOM Via 1430/1435 can not be updated only by tomtom drive
