Why Nc 9.701 ? Try NC 9.702 . Maybe your Problem gone away
Anybody else come across this,
im running truck 9.701 navcore. 940 map . On a 530
everything fine ,except eta always shows more time than it actually takes.
its quite a lot off, 2 hour journey will show 2 3/4 hours ,5 hour trip could show upto 2 hours more
i know its minor complaint,
navcore set up for bus at 100kph
Previous 89 navcore was minuete perfect, but carnt run latest maps on it
ive learnt to subtract excess time ,if asked for eta
but be nice to hear if anyone else found solution
thanks
Why Nc 9.701 ? Try NC 9.702 . Maybe your Problem gone away
Son has tomtom GO720 with Nc 9.702 and truck 940 map set to 54mph and eta's are always within 2 min's of time stated when starting at end of run.
So I would say try changing your Nc to 9.702 and see if that sorts you problem.
cheers guys
ill give them a try .
its no loss if i set it to truck instead of bus. because it will not differentiate between either .still will not tell me to use bus lanes.
ill keep you posted
merry Christmas
Ive tried 9.702 exactly same problem.
set it up for truck instead of coach. No difference
only gives correct time when i set it to car or van,
which i dont want to do ,for obvious reasons.
old 8.9 navcore never had this problem.
ah well worth a try , got used to mentally subtracting time from 530 when asked for eta
thanks
Thanks quin 1965 thats the navore im using ie 9.702 1512362.1 to be exact
also its not related to a particular model of tomtom.
ive put onto mates tomtoms at work. all do the overestimate of time , tomtom *20 or *30s.
cheers
Not trying to teach you to suck eggs or anything BUT......
When you put in truck/coach weights and height etc.....did you put in speed?
I put 54mph/89km/h for my truck and its pretty accurate
Regards
thanks Ripper31
yea after putting dimensions for the coach the second to last question is speed then after that it asks about warnings for dead ends
you have to input something before it goes onto next question
so speed definitely put in
