    Default XL 250 tracklogs

Hi all I have "the Missus has" an XL250 and I am wondering if it is possible that a log file of where you have been is downloadable, I have browsed the unit and can't see a file I could export and integrate with OZiExplorer.

Does anybody know or it is just a FIFO file system???

You can't use the data created by TT, Tripmaster is a program that can log tracks for you, check Google for it.
Only other option I could think of is to use the 9.500 Navcore in Rider (17) emulation and use the logging function there.
But that would mean there is no sound from the speaker - only over a BT headset.

OK thxs Downunder35m I was just wondering if it stored a trip that I could extract and convert/load into OZiexplorer, I use an HP iPac 2100 as a trip logger has GPS and OZice installed and one day is going to die so was looking for replacements " the TT is the Missus's" so anyway am sure some where some time as I browse the Forum of Gadgets will see something I like, plenty of time to do so.

    Edit after time laps logout:
OK an added question: How/where do I find out the system info from this device? I have done a google and hey no answers and the TT doesn't seem to have a System option. Or am blind

System info either over the menu or by checking the content of the ttgo.bif file in the root using a text editor.
You can use tripmater on the TT for the tracks and if necessary convert them for Ozi using some online tools.

OK thanks for that Downunder35m have looked at that file and found it would run tripmaster, and that is installed and running, will test it out after Easter when going on a prospecting trip, well with the old Etrex, HP iPac 2100 and the TT I shouldn't get lost.

ok but will be only using in vehicle so no limit to power 12v "have lots of that" is just extra fun the have some more Technology to play with. If all that fails I just go back to a Compass the stars and Topographical maps.

OK am back and have used Trip Master for some logging of tracks. Will take me some time to sort "as have other projects to collate and log" will sort of make it a mini Tutorial like here's a pic and I did this to make a track on OziExplorer and link a Pic of it simple stuff to follow OKy. "place Time lag here 'days/weeks/milliseconds or even Tera seconds who knows' " :yay: may procrastinate for awhile but will be done.
