Default File Manager / Explorer for TomTom

I have looked through the posts and I cannot find a hit for this one so I shall start one

Is there a File Manager / Explorer to run on the TomTom so I can delete or activate files such as the update SiRFStarIII GPS update without connecting to the laptop ????

I have done the usual Google search but again!!!! nothing.........

To spare you the time: no chance!
I tried for years and even attempted to use a modified Linuxexplorer but the TT Navcore prevents any attempts to use a file explorer of any kind.
The only way I know that works is by using a shellscricpt with a bash and the corresponding entry inside the SDKRegistry folder, but it is pure Linux scripting and a bit too hard for an old man like me.
If it is only for the QuickFix, my latest Navcores are all equipped with an update funtion that can be used on any Live device (with a working servce off course) or when connected to your mobile phone.
Manually deleting the data without new files will result in endless waiting times for the next GPS fix
On the net you can find some scripts to hide/delete the safety cams - from the times when it started to be illegal in some countries. Those scripts can be easier modified to let's say delete the files inside the screen capture folder.
