Default connector pinout on Go Live 1000 for external audio

hi, this may be a tough one ... ;-)
i want to use my Go Live on my motorcycle and want to listen to the audio navigation advices using my iphone headset; i will need to fit the headset connector to the tomtom usb cable; does somebody know the connector pinouts on the cable ? it must be possible because the tomtom active dock offers a separate audio connection -> so the pins inside the Go Live connector are wired and i assume the standar cable will take them out ... - any help much appreciated

Until 5 years ago, audio over USB used to be a popular solution also in the mobile phone industry.
    Here is a likely pinout:

However, there might be a problem with Pin4, which is grounded in the picture and shorted to Pin5.
In some headsets, this pin is loaded with a resistor having a particular value which depends on the accessory type: this is called USB ID, and it is meant to tell the host/device "which" accessory has been plugged in.
I don't know what the Live 1000 "expects" to see in order to switch the audio routing onto the USB connector.

I suggest you to try with a cheap mini-USB to 3.5 headset adapter. You can find this anywhere online, like the following:

    Good luck!
