    Default What map to use?

    DeviceName=TomTom GO 720
    DeviceVersionHW=GO 720
    BootLoaderVersion=55120
    ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9205
    ApplicationVersion=547817.1
    CurrentMap=Europe
    CurrentMapVersion=865.3244

    I've no idea how this whole thing works. I basically want a Mexico map. Should I be using maps 885? 890? Would you recommend updating the navcore? If so to which one? Thanks

    As long as you are happy with your Navcore, keep it.
    Check if you find a current map with a correct meta code posted for your region - if not use the 885 maps.
    Follow the instruction for the installation of the map and use FastActivate premium to activate the map.

    You need to let TTHome update your device to the current/correct Application 9.430 then use USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P v890.4238 from anywhere here:- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    See round here for some of the stickies how to do it all:- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
