No Map share updates on new TOMTOM map
Hello guys, i installed a map sucessfully , but iam failing to get map share updates, i get a message from HOME saying " its been 20 weeks since you updated your map" , does anyone know how to get rid of this error.

I've always had that message, so it's probably just TomTom's way of trying to persuade people to buy new maps "in my opinion" Originally Posted by jodeci74
If you wanted to test if it's working then you could change the map update settings to a different setting, if you have it set just to update from TomTom checked sources you could try changing it to ...... one of the others.

I changed my update settings to different settings, not just TOMTOM checked sources and i keep getting the message "my map hasn't been updated for 20 weeks and map share is temporarily unavailable." Iam able to get all other updates like for security .
Is it a problem with TOMTOM home, or is it because i got a different map, i didnt just upgrade my map, i got a different map.
please any help will be appreciated, this has been going on for more than 3 months.

Like I said in the previous post, I have always received that same message and still receive map updates "if and when their are any". Originally Posted by jodeci74
I would suspect the reason for the message is that TT Home has detected a different navcore version than what was expected.

I upgraded my current map, and iam now able to see the map share corrections, and the annoying message does not appear anymore.
