To check, if everything is OK:

After downloading a map, close TomTom Go and start it again... Then check under 'Upgrade' whether the date is far in the future... roughly year 2100...

Yes, and on the german Upgrade-screen you should see (depending on the Android version): Freemium license Gültig bis 01.01.2101 / 01.01.01

    - Android / Obb / com.tomtom.gplay.navapp
    - If you have CCleaner make one pass and restart the Device
    1) First install the original application from Google Play Store. Without downloading the Maps *)
    2) Start the software, then close it immediately. (With this you have 75 km)
    3) Uninstall "mobile TomTom GO" from the Application Manager (without deleting data).
    - From Applications Manager, Force shutdown >> Uninstall (do not click on the Delete Data)
    4) Install the new "Traffic & Navigation TomTom Go Patch" (NOT start !!!)
    - After the installation click "Finish" (not "Open")
    5) Now Reboot your device (in the information will no longer appear 75 km).
    6) Start the application by the "TomTom GO Mobile" and the Vs Happiness: Freemium license valid until 01.01.2101.
TomTom Services: unlimited surfing valid until 01.01.2101
    7) The map, however should be unloaded AFTER installing the apk moddata: clicking begins, scroll the display from right to left, and you start to download the map.
    - The maps are installed automatically where they find more free space, for example if you have 2 GB internal memory and SD free 3 GB free, maps are installed on the SD.
*) You can install all the maps you want:
I've followed these exact steps but I never get the license. It always says license until 1/1/01 but it still gives me the options to upgrade to 1 or 3 year licenses. Can anyone help me? I'm using a Samsung S6. Also I'm not sure what is meant in step 7. After I rebooted I open the app (patched version) and it makes me download the map first before I can open the app at all.

    1) You can ignore the options to upgrade to 1 to 3 year licenses... I also always see this... important is the date 'far in the future' (like 2050 or 2100 or so)
    2) In fact step 7 is misleading... it simply means that you can download a map... :-)

Default Tomtom Go offline : how to install speed cameras ?

    Hello,
I've install TT Go since many times but I need it for my France hollidays.
I can't turn on data because roaming is very expensive.

How to install french or european speed cams and where can I find it ?

There are restrictions by french law about speed cameras in France. So the TomTom-online-service make no sense (in france).
You can't integrate own speed cam files (like the PNA *.ov2), because you get only a adresslist in "My Places". From this list you can select only one speedcam-point as one single destination, so it make no sense.
But you can use a second app (playstore) like blitzer.de Plus also offline in widget-mode. So you have offline at least the stationary speed cams from the last data-update of the app, better than nothing.

And tomtom go mobile is correct and very helpful.
I use it every days on the roads of France
It is better that french people answer questions concerning France, English for England, German for Germany, etc
    Thank you

Sorry but in your opinion what does this mean?
