Question Tomtom Go or Tomtom 1.4 ?

    Hello,
I just intall Tomtom Go (before 1.4) and I like it.

TT Go is now cracked since many month.
Why continue to use TT 1.4 ?

Why many people prefer 1.4 and not Go ?

    (sorry for bad english)

I will continue to use TomTom v1.4 until some remaining bugs issue
fixed in TT GO navigation app.

TT v1.4 also works great on my CarJoying head unit.

Apps differs. Interface, algorithm, etc. I have both 1.4 and 1.9 installed. So, if I can't carry on with 1.9, I can switch to "old good" 1.4 without probs.

Hi, hi, same with me... but I use 1.4 plus Go1.8.2 (seems to run more stable than Go1.9)... and as a backup in addition Navigon and HERE...

For me, TomTom Go Mobile has the following advantages:

    - Modern user interface
    - Easy Maps download inside the app for all countries
(For old version you could not download all maps in 1 app; it was required to install seperate apps eg. TomTom Europe, TomTom USA, TomTom DACH ...
    - Old versions: Traffic did not work in cracked versions
    - Old versions:Manual integration and manual updates of speed cams

BTW, at least once a year you get it for a special price (bought it for 30 for 3 years), quite cheap for worldwide maps with traffic and speed cams ;-)

    regards

What about POI's? Your own POI's? Which one is better, 1.4 or 1.9?

    1. Installed TT 1.4 Mexico into internal memory of Joying head unit
    2. Using MS Notepad edit scdard, location in file .metadata.xml

    Default location: location="file://mnt/sdcard/tomtom/com.tomtom.mexico"
Joying head unit change to: location="file://sdcard/tomtom/com.tomtom.mexico"

    Note
-Only installed into internal memory since the Mexico maps are small
-I have not tryed to install into external SD Card
