I don't know anything about chainfire autoroot for the Nexus 7 as I used the Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.4 by WugFresh that I mentioned earlier, although chainfire software is highly recommended for most things and I have used his software often on my galaxy phones and tablets. As long as you have a Nexus 7 (2013) you definitely need RAZOR-FLO. I stuck with android lollipop as v1.4 didn't work when I upgraded to marshmallow so I used RAZOR-FLO: Android 5.1.1 - Build: LMY48T.

I will take a chance on posting a link as it is nothing to do with forums or satellite so I am sure the mods and admin won't mind, for all Nexus software's go here and scroll down the page to your model number, but please please please make sure you choose your correct model:

If you need any more help I cannot get back online now until probably Monday evening.

If any mods don't like the link please delete and don't smack my hands as I am only trying to help.

Glad you got it sorted m8, the software is so much more than a root tool and is certainly a must have for any nexus owner.

I tired to update my nexus 7 when I got the Android 4 ... All other versions make it go super slow, so I do not think the N7 be prepared for them. regards

V1.8, v1.9 and v1.10 will run on Marshmallow, it's v1.4 and below that doesn't run. I have kept my Nexus on Lollipop to get the best of both worlds.

Must admitt very happy with the performance off TomTom go navigator and traffic on the nexus 7, its very fast and works a treat. as I am still running 6.0.1 and dont really want to roll back the FW and cant use the latest 1.4 version I am going to install one off the older TT v1.8 / v1.9 or v1.10, just incase we loose the TT mobile nav software due to an upgrade or anything they bring out that will cancel it working okay so question is are these older versions still available to download via this site and can I use the latest uk map on them ?
