This step integrate your restored map/data in the Go-app. A simple copy don't work, thats why this tuto.
If you have no (previously) downloaded map/data, how you will make a restore? You can only make a restore of own stored data, but never a new clean install (on other device) or map-update with this method. So this tuto make no sense for the most users. It's nice to know, but thats all.

Please, no reply with full-quote, not even for stupid people, who have already forgotten the previous post.

This tuto is done to avoid a new download map (Europe map size is ~5Go) when you want to make a new install of your TTGO App (ex: crash of TTGO App).
As said Alfred_ML, this is available only on the same phone as the first installation was done (TTGO databases are encrypted with keys generated from your phone ID).

Info to recover a TTGO crash App (mandatory: you must have done a "content.db" file backup before):
symptom: You are locked with the rotating cursor at the first screen of the App
    • Go to ""<Phone>\Android\data\com.tomtom.gplay.navapp\files" directory.
    • Delete all the directory files.
    • Retrieve and copy here your "content.db" file backup.
    • Restart TTGO App.

Hm, since I have many Smartphones I could even 'clone' accross various Phones:

    1) Cloning / Copying Android/data/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp from a 'master' phone
    2) Restoring a Titanium Backup from the same 'master' phone

Perfectly working on all other phones...
