My GO Mobile TomTom has experienced an error that could not view and download other maps. It appeared the following message: "Unable to display maps Check your internet connection and try again.". I even think to install another map had to uninstall the current. Error!

Uninstalled to pack up and could not install. The GO Mobile TomTom screen was frozen on the home screen with the following message: "Can not connect to application TomTom Check the Internet connection on your phone.".

Before thousands of dozens of attempts, I began to realize that it could not be installation error. That's when I began to realize that the error was the cell. I looked in the system any folder you'd preventing the connection.

The following solution for problems of any connection error

Delete hosts file on your device. For this I used the Root Explorer application and the path to delete this file system is / etc / hosts. Delete this file hosts
    Possible cause of the problem:
    - IP in the 'hosts' file may be incorrect which causes conflict in redirection to Google.

After that, turn on the lucky patcher application and the bottom of the app (footer), click tool box / install google play moderate store / Install (you will see a list, take the latest Google Play Store, in my case more recent was the version 6.3.15).

Ready and resolved the connection error problem

    greetings

    Doesn't work for me.
same problems as you. After the described manipulations, I still have the connection problem

    cadkey,

I'm sure it will succeed, because the way I passed is correct. Do a search on the internet to find some videos explaining how to do step by step.

All version, 1.7, 1.8.1 1.9 original (apk or via Google play) or patched, always same message "Can not connect to application TomTom Check the Internet connection on your phone.".
This worked well there 15 days.
since a complete reinstallation impossible start tomtom without connexion error.
all my other applications run as before.
I delete the hosts file , empty cache and data of Google Play , etc ... Nothing worked . I do not understand. Even an original version on a clean installation doesn't work.
    A mistake for me.

    @cadkey,

The problem is in your mobile! You want to make a test? Install GO Mobile TomTom original play store in any other mobile phone or ask a friend to install the application. Now just think if the installation is supported on another device because on my phone can not? Answer: The problem is in your mobile!

Search on google, how to root on your mobile device. Search videos teaching step by step, how to root on your device. Watch more videos and when they understand and feel confident in doing root, do it,

    What is root?
The root word means "root" in English, and it is a process derived from Linux, which is also used in Android to get superuser rights. That way you gain full access to the system and allowed to modify it freely.

However, the installation of a root by inexperienced users can cause serious damage to the device, because if something goes wrong, important system files can be deleted quickly, compromising the device. Therefore, search on google and watch several videos before doing anything.

Making root, do the procedure passed the post above to delete the hosts file and update the google play store for lucky patcher app.

Search before any decision and understand that this is the right way!

    Wbjiu
