    Hello,
Is it normal that everytime I switch OFF then switch ON my mobile, I need a wifi "trigger" connection before navigation start (the arrow stay gray)?
Is there any parameter setting to get ride from that, and start navigation without wifi connection?
    Regards

Nope, GPS fix is OK without datalink. GPS has nothing to do with Internet access. You'll need good satellite reception for getting a proper fix for GPS signal.

Sorry to contradict you. Although I have an excellent FIX, every new start (after OFF/ON) TomTom GO navigation arrow remains gray, until a wifi datalink.
Besides, I just did a test in airplane mode: Sygic and iGO works perfectly, TomTom not. Then I stop the airplane mode, wifi OK, TomTom works, navigation arrow become blue.... WEIRD.
Again, it looks like TomTom need a wifi trigger launch to start navigation.
    Regards

I just used tomtom without wifi and data. Everything was 100% OK.
Closed tomtom and put smartphone in airplane mode. tomtom starts and works 100% OK

installed Tomtom Go Navigation and Traffic v1.8.1 Build 1185 Patched_DFoX
on Nexus 7 Android 6.0.1 not rooted
    TT Go installs OK
but: "The app cannot connect to TomTom.."
my Internet connection is ok via Wifi.
    restart, powerdown/up makes no difference.
    any help appreciated.

    Edit:
thanks to Catymag, got it to work: just had to follow instructions on Post#1, ie install TTGo first from Playstore and uninstall and install patched version. My mistake.

Have you installed previously Google play version, uninstall and installed patched version?
Do you have Lucky Patcher Emulation Services active?

No. My GPS is very accurate. Only when I am waiting for a traffic light the map is turning around often. But recovers in a second when I drive again. So it must be your GPS or maybe your car windshield.

So far everything perfect, the only downside I noticed is huge battery drain even while on car charger. My phone was at 20% charge, plugged in car charger, drove about 1h 35min, screen always on, batter was down to 4% when I arrived. I was quite shocked! Charger is working normally and I didn't exhibit this (or not to this extent) in other navigation apps. I have S6 edge.

    Any idea?

    Hi master Dfox.

Has compared this 1.8 build with previous 1.7 build in the same phone / network and place: looks like "TMC" from this 1.8 build is not as active / functional as compared to previous 1.7. Has anybody noticed that too?

    Thanks again.
