Ok, the layout and the handling of the Go-App is terrible, but you can save your created routes ! And the install is verry simple.
If a new map-version for the current Go-map available, you get a note from TomTom. You can download the map later at home (with wlan). You can download every map you like, also later.
You have to expand the map-menu before to see the other downloadable maps (Amerika, Asia, Africa, Region-maps of Europe...)

-clear cache and uninstall previous tomtom install
    -restart the phone
-install tomtom go from google play
    -install europe map

-install the 1.10 cracked version from dfox here on the forum
    -andoid error, app not installed

?? am I doind something wrong?

    These steps are importand:
    - Install (any) playstore-version (downloaded or direct from store)
    - Start the app, the app must download ca. 36 MB of needed data. But don't download maps - it's wasted time!
    - Uninstall the playstore-version
    - Install the DFox-APK "Tomtom_Go_1.11_Build_1555_Patched_By_DeltaFoX.apk" but not start the installed app! Restart your device first.
    - Start the Go-App and download map(s)
    - Use the app and be happy

    Thanks Alfred_ML, it's working perfectly.

If you don't mind i'd like to make a few questions

I downloaded the maps with the app trough wi-fi, the Europe map would take 6.5Gb wich is far more than the ones that are linked on the forum. Does this means the map I downloaded is more complete?

After installing a warning below said I had 47 days left to use the app, should I worry about it? In the about menu upgrade it indicates its valid till the year 2100 anyways.

Is it possible to make a full offline installation?

    Can I switch maps offline?

Can i look for near hospitals? (I couldn't find items other than gas stations)

Sorry if these are too many questions

Yes for hospital in madrid for exemple,
    search adress "madrid"
    select "madrid"
move on Point interest (adress, point interest, contact), type "hospital"
You have the list for all hospital in madrid

You can download Go Mobile user manual here, or in your language:

These Go-App-maps running only under Android, not under a PNA, they are not comparable. Many other data (only for Android) in these maps - like the Mazda-NB1-maps. But the maps by itself are not "more complete" as the PNA-maps.

With the next start of the app should be the warning gone away.

Maybe, but make no sense, not really.

You can switch offline between every downloaded map and use it offline (Europe -> South_East_Asia ->Northamerica etc.), but you can't update a map by copy. Updates only online (e.g. wifi)

You can copy own POI-files (e.g. McDonalds.ov2 from your PNA - without the *.bmp) to your phone (Android\data\com.tomtom.gplay.navapp\files\personal\pois). You will find these added poi-data under "My Places" and can use it as a destination.

Several spellings are used in Go Mobile application unfortunately
    Mc Donalds
    Mac Donalds
    etc.
The search result is different, but the POI exist.

    Hi,

    Looking for a bit of advice and ideally a definitive answer to my problem. I will try and describe it, as best I can below;

I have just installed a double din head unit in my car, running Android 4.4.2. It came with IGo Primo installed, but having used Tomtom for years, it was a bit alien to me and so I set about finding a Tomtom solution for it.

I came across [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] thread on here and downloaded TomTom Android 1.4 APK + UK & Ireland 975.7685 (18-08-2016) from post No.4 by "navigator".

I have extracted and transferred the tomtom folder and .apk to my sd card and installed the .apk file. However, when I run the app it "cannot connect to tomtom".

As a result, I have spent this evening reading up on this forum, but have yet to find a definitive answer of what the problem may be. Any help is greatly appreciated
