As you said, root is mandatory!
After this just uninstalled the app, keeping the entire folder "SygicInCar" with the folder "Maps" (PC downloaded) and the other two folder "Android" and "Res".
Installed again the app downloaded from playstore and before the first run, patched with Lucky Patcher applying the "specific patch".-
Just run the app and.... it is working with mirrorlink perfectly.
What I was doing wrong? I created the modified app with Lucky Patcher instead of applying the patch.- The modified app just lost the signature and mirrorlink didn`t recognize it anymore.
I have the sygic incar purchased legally, I would like to share information as they may be able to use.
i put the sygic car map included the maps on my sd card
installed it on my sd card,
but it is giving a red bar with, get premium??
how can i solve this?
thanks a lot
Is there a way to make this work with Mirrorlink without rooting your device?
• Works in a car connected mode with selected models from VW, Skoda, Seat, Peugeot, Citroen, Jaguar, Land Rover and more
• Works in a standalone mode on your Android phone or tablet
Sygic Car Navigation in car connected mode is compatible with vehicles equipped with VW Car-Net® App Connect, Skoda SmartLink, Seat Full Link and Peugeot Mirror Screen. Your smartphone needs to support MirrorLink® 1.1. technology. To use with Jaguar or Land Rover please install the Jaguar InControl™ App or Land Rover InControl™ App on your phone.
So the question is do you meet the requirements to make this work????
You can check the MirrorLink website to see if your car is MIRRORLINK-ENABLED.

But this app is not on the Mirrorlink certified list in the Android settings (as opposed to the 7 day trial). I'm guessing it's because you can't download through the app and therefore can't get a certification...
Yeah I know. And I guess I will.
The thing is that I already have bought the "normal" Sygic premium, but I have to pay full price for the "car" version. I find that unreasonable. But that's how it is...
