I have done this but it is not working. Maybe the reason is that I'm on the same device with two diffrent versions of Sygic. One TA and one NT truck.

I will delete everything and then try again.

Is working fine with the same content.info as the same from previous version 15.4.14.
No problems here. Follow my instructions.

Is there anyway to put the file Sygic to the external SD?
I try with the quidlines from Sygic support page but it asks to download maps again and makes a new Sygic file to the internal memory.

You must be doing something wrong....SYGIC GPS actually works like a charm when it comes to SD card...Sygic Truck can be tricky but let me show you what I tried so far to make it work. I hope this will help other members to solve their SD above 4.3 OS issue.

    OPTION 1
    0. After you finish installing Sygic try going to Application manager and find SYGIC app.
Try Move to SD card option.
    Sygic will move everything to:
    SD CARD/Android/data/com.sygic.truck or android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/
So simply open this folder and add your maps.

OPTION 2: ROOTED DEVICE Credits to @Chaotix

    Step 1
get all your maps and app from this url
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Step 2
Connect your phone to PC in USB File Sharing mode. Copy the gps zip file and the apk into your internal phone memory. If you are installing the TripAdvisor Addon copy that zip on there aswell.

    Step 3
Once its on there extract the zip file into the SDCard folder (also known as SDCard0 in RAW system) of your system. If you are installing TripAdvisor Addon extract that folder also and merge the folders that you extracted with the folders you extracted from the original zip files (three folders will need merging, Android, Maps and Res). Install the apk by enabling 3rd party apps in settings but don't run the app.

    Step 4
Move the maps folder to externalSD/Sygic/Maps. This is the storage path of the Maps on your SD Card. If you are doing the whole world you'll probably need about 14gb of free space. Move the whole world map into this folder on your SD Card.

    Step 5
Edit the settings.ini file in the folder SDCard/Sygic/Android/settings.ini. Go these lines.

; Path to folder with Maps
    m_strSetMapPath=/../Maps

; Path to folder with Content Informations (content.info, content.lic, footprint.info)
    m_strSetContentPath=/../Maps

Here change the path to your external SD. So instead of "/../Maps" for me was this /../../../externalSD/Sygic/Maps.

    Step 6
Run Sygic and enjoy free World GPS Map on your mobile android
    NOTE: credits to: @Brown Dog
content.lic file will convert the app to trial and will appear in the phone when you download maps with WiFi. You must use the PC downloader. Delete content.lic file

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES TO TRY - ROOTED DEVICE REQUIRED

    EXTRA 4 METHODS

    OPTION 3. NON-Rooted Device - SYGIC OFFICAL

    1. Please download the latest version of Sygic GPS navigation from the Google play store.

    2. Cut and paste the existing Sygic folder from the internal memory onto the external SD card. Please make sure that no Sygic files or folders remain in the internal memory.

    3. Launch sygic and you should see a message about the need to copy the files to a new folder. Tap ok and sygic will copy the necessary files into android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/ folder automatically. When its done, the app should start correctly.

    4. Now you can delete the remaining Sygic folder from the main external SD card folder as it was already copied into android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/ on your SD card.
Please do NOT move the Sygic folder directly into Android/data/com.sygic.aura folder. Sygic needs to create this folder and recreate the Sygic files.

On some devices our initialization files are changed to text files. In that case please change core3d.ini.txt and settings.ini.txt files name to core3d.ini and settings.ini via Android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/Android

OPTION 4. - NON-Rooted - Enable “Write to SD Card”
    1. Dowload Android SDK zip file
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    2. Once the download finishes, unzip the package to a location of your choosing.

    3. The next thing you’ll need to do is enable Developer Options on your Android device.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    4. Make sure that Developer Options are enabled on your Android device and that the USB Debugging option is marked.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    5. Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable. If it’s the first time you’re doing this, make sure to wait while all of the drivers are installed automatically. When that’s done, make sure you set your Android connection to “Charge Only”, or anything other than “USB Storage”.

    6. Open up the Android SDK folder you unzipped. If you do not see a platform-tools folder then you’ll need to open the SDK Manager application. It will retrieve a list of the necessary packages in order to use the tools you need. From the list make sure to select Android SDK Platform Tools. All the rest are optional. Once you select the appropriate packages, click on Install packages, accept the terms and click on Install again.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    7. Now you should see the platform-tools folder. If you’re on a Mac then just right-click on the platform-tools folder and select “New terminal at folder”.
If you’re on Windows open up the platform-tools folder and from there press Shift and then right- click and select “Open command window here”.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    8. A command window will pop up. Type in the following commands:

    For Windows: adb devices

    For Mac: ./adb devices

    9. You should see the name of your attached Android device right under. If it shows up, type in the following:

For Windows: adb shell pm set-install-location 2
    adb shell pm get-install-location

    For Mac: ./adb shell pm set-install-location 2
    ./adb shell pm get-install-location

    10. If you did it right the final output in the console window should say: 2 [external]

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

That’s it! You are now able to write all your data or apps directly into your SD card and take advantage of all that extra space. Enjoy!

    NOTE:
If you’re not comfortable with that setup (for performance reason), you can always revert to using the primary storage location by using the command: adb shell pm set-install-location 1

Whoever is facing issues with Sygic , please dont include the wcl folder and contents.info file which is included in the basefolder archive . It messes up with sygic. Just now i found the above version 15.6.0 and when i used the wcl folder along with contents.info file, sygic exits with error message.

Hence i tried replacing the above files with the one that came along with the downloaded maps and viola it worked !!!. This is the second time i am facing this issue.

This post is for everyone facing issue with sygic. Just download the required sygic maps with the map downloader along with world map support files which downloads wcl folder and content.info file. Use these files alone along with the downloaded maps for the base folder and never use the MAP folder which come included with base folder.

Now i am downloading the above version and hope it has other fixes apart from Marshmallow support.

Kindly LIKE my post if you find it useful

    GoodLuck everybody.

    Good Luck.

too bad, as it's very smooth and stable (at least on S6 edge). Now we only need a proper crack to fix Foursquare search...

    cheers,
