At an intersection on a highway, you will have to decide where to go (straight, exit left, exit right). JCV (Junction View) is a graphically display of that info. It consisted of the following elements: A background image (usually to indicate night or day), a road image, any sign image(s), any arrow (drawn to position on road) image(s). They comes in two types: Raster JCV's (drawn using only bitmap graphic) and Vector JCV's (drawn using SVG graphic). Raster can be layered (stack one on top of each other) with background opague, and other layers can be transparent. Each Vector graphic elements can be turn on/off independently. These ability are not controlled by the user, but by the mapping/graphic engine.

O, that. I thought they mean lane assist.
Junction view worked fine in previous versions, did not see it during my last test ride with 15.4.6
It's a bit difficult to check if it workes because it does not always comes up, only on highways ?
    Thanks.

Well this is what show up on my phone while driving.

As this is not my screen but an example of what I see on my screen.

The one on the far right is Junction View and is very small and hard to see.

I have professional GPS units that show Junction View much better.

So when chambers and rider say they see Junction View I think they are telling the truth......

As for osiris4isis I have never seen a full screen on any version.

This is what they show on the Google site but again I have never had this view.

First picture is lane assist which is working in v. 15.4.6 and the second picture is Junction View which is not. Maybe it is time to stop this unproductive debate and wait for new version. Btw same problem with Junction View was last year, before v. 14.3.4 was published. I sent about 10 to 15 messages and videos to sygic support center to correct the problem. Well it took about 2 months. I hope this time will be faster.

No place do they show a full screen picture.

Plus this is where users talk about apps.

    Be it pro or con.

it is a mess, i'm following the release of newer versions but i can't understand which version works perfectly of the 15.x branch. On september i'll go away and i'll need a working app.

    @Salsa
While travelling I wouldn't use a test- or expirimental version, or even a so called 15.x "stable version" full of bugs.
It is safer to go back to a known stable version like v. 14.3.4

    @ salsa,

I would have to agree with keesdewit.
But to be real safe I would pick up a TomTom or Garmin Stand alone GPS unit.
You can get some of them for about 99 Euro.
Then you are sure you will get there with no problems.

If you don't want to buy a nuvi, install Navigon, it works fine. Easy and simple.
