    Agreed.
Having tried virtually all other possibilities, only Sygic and Co-Pilot remain. ALL others suffer from:
    1) Ridiculously outdated maps..some 3 or more years out of date which show me flying through the air instead of driving over a bridge.
    2) Clunky, inscrutable interface sometimes with a tiny ribbon of 'buttons' too small for a child's finger.
    3) Not playing well with a music player running simultaneously (a deal breaker for me)..muting sound badly or too impossibly low volume to hear anything at all.

Obviously in the minority, I actually prefer the new Sygic UI over the old one which was definitely showing it's age. I only hope they get their act together soon lest they fade away.

Well with all said and done I will stick with my Garmin 2595LMT.
It has always worked for me out of the box.
I get my maps every 3 months updated.

You can not say that about GPS app map updates.

Even if sales of stand alone GPS units have fallen off a bit.

They will make a come back.

I have tried all the GPS apps out there and they can not come close to the reliability of a stand along GPS unit.

I do not have time to uninstall, reinstall, uninstall, reinstall every week and now every day.

A GPS unit has to work first time every time and not crash or just stop working while you are on a trip.

You have enough stress as it is with traffic and crazy drivers.

And then still worry if the GPS app is going to work and get you there in the fastest way or take you on a trip on roads you do not need to be on.

Then these apps have a bad habit of not recalibrating your route if you miss an exit.

Or you take a small detour to take a pee break or just get a bite to eat and the GPS app falls apart.

Yes. Like I said, if I do a factory reset on my S5 G900F (Android 5.0 BOD3 UK), the Sygic v15.2.2 can be installed and is working fine after first crash. I don't know why.
Else if I flash again 4.4.2 then upgrade to 5.0 again, then after inatallation of 40-50 applications I try to install the last version of Sygic.
Result: the Sygic refuse to install !!!
I think is a bug on Android 5.0, but I don't think that is s bug from rooted devices.
Beside the issue maybe cone from the crcked apk, because all previous version till 15.2.0 can be installed without any issues...
