Just tried installing in my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Kitkat 4.4.2 and it didn't work... Starts, sees the Sygic logo, then an error message "Unfortunately, Sygic has stopped".. Tried moving the "Sygic" directory to the internal SD card, but still gets the same message. I've already downloaded the relevant maps in the "Maps" directory in the SD card...

Any idea how I can get this working?

Now that play store release version 14.3.1 (looks like they fix kit-kat crash problem), should we keep version in post #1 or use version at play store? In another word, is post #1 version cr@cked?

Thanks for the work around. Sygic is now starting, but it doesn't see the maps in the external or internal SD Card. Sygic is just sitting on the screen trying to connect to the Sygic store and complaining there is no internet connection, which I've obviously turned off...

    Any additional help appreciated.

BTW, my S5 is rooted, but running standard ROM. I've also made a modification to the permissions so the external SD card is writeable by standard applications.

The reason that it tried to connect to Sygic is to download the core and map files. Obviously, your installation of Sygic doesn't see where you put those files. If you put map on external SD card (not internal ones), then you must move Sygic app to SD card (it's under manage app in android settings) If your phone only allows app to be in internal memory, then make sure Sygic AND it's core and map files are on internal memory (use root explorer to access the location and copy files over if necessary) Remember the core and map files need to be under the Sygic directory for normal and SygicTruck for truck.
