    I followed the steps and downloaded the maps for The Netherlands (2012.10) and Morocco (2012.06). After that, I've overwritten the wcl folder and content.info with the ones in the file Update.rar. But still Sygic can't detect the map. When I put back the original wcl folder and content.info it does recognise the map for the Netherlands, but not for Morocco. What's the problem? I even tried editing content.info, because in that file it says 2012.03 for Morocco. So I changed it to 2012.06, but still it didn't work.

    Even when I delete the Netherlands map, the Morocco map isn't recognised.

    Has anyone successfully moved Sygic from the phone memory to an sdcard? I have a Note II and installed Sygic from the first post with maps (thanks, it works great this way). My issue is that I don't know exactly what to put in the Settings.ini file for the map location. The Note II has kind of a funky setup for the storage/sdcard. I'd like to leave the Sygic program itself on the phones memory and move the maps to the Sdcard. This is where I have the maps stored and I'm not sure how many /../ I need to put in so that it can find the map files.

    /../../../sdcard1/Maps
    or maybe /../../../storage/sdcard1/Maps
    (change sdcard1 to extSdCard if that's what you have)

    If this doesn't work, DirectoryBind will work. I use it to put big game/app data on external, it then creates a symbolic link pointing to it in the internal.

    Type "directorybind xda" in google and download it.

    Open the app, for source use: /storage/sdcard1/Maps
    for target use: /sdcard/Sygic/Maps
    Select to transfer data, click "Add"
    Select it and choose "bind checked", the icon on the left should turn green
    Select "More" and "Backup database"

    If I use directorybind, do I need to install the Sygic program with maps to the phone and let directorybind move it? Or do I move the maps to the SDcard and leave the program on the phone?

    I tried directory bind and I got it to work. However, directory bind crashes about every 1 minute and it freezes the phone. I think I am running out of options.

    On my acer a200 tablet I simply installed the Sygic 13.1.1 apk, moved the SYGIC folder to the micro SD card and added any extra maps.
    The acer external SD card is /mnt/external_sd
    Sygic obviously found the folder with no other effort on my part.

    The program works perfectly for me.

    I use Directory Bind for other apps but it is not required for Sygic on my tablet.

    You must add the correct information of Morocco in the content file.

    [PRODUCT:Sygic Aura 2 Morocco]
    name=Sygic Aura 2 Morocco
    tts=yes
    sdk=no
    truckAttr=no
    premiumPOI=yes
    exPostals=no
    3dContent=yes
    cityguides=yes
    naviType=pedestrian,car
    speedcam=SCDB:MAR:2020.01
    maps=NC:MAR:2012.06

    When I did get DirectoryBind to work, this is what I came up with that worked:

    /Storage/extSdCard/Sygic/Maps <-- Where the map files actually were.

    /sdcard/Sygic/Maps <-- Where it was supposed to be. (It's a Note 2 so sdcard is actually the designation for the phone's memory)

    How would I plug that into the System.ini file so that it works properly?

    The maps I am using, I got from the Sygic Downloader are 2012.10 North America.

    I also noticed something. My Maps folder does not have a content.lic or footprint.info file. The only thing in Maps folder is a bunch of folders and a single file called content.info.

    That's odd that it crashes. But no, you can just install Sygic on the phone and move the maps to the external with your PC. Just don't select "transfer data" in DB.

    If the icon is green in Directory Bind then it means it worked. You shouldn't have to change anything in settings.ini. Settings.ini will look at sdcard/Sygic/Maps, but sdcard/Sygic/Maps is actually a symbolic link pointing to extSdCard/Maps so it should search in that folder instead. I have the Sygic obb file in external and made a symbolic link in Directory Bind. Works great.

    Here's content.lic: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I think footprint.info is automatically generated when you start the app.

    Try /../../../extSdCard/Maps
    or
    /../../../storage/extSdCard/Maps
    in settings.ini first, though.
