Yes it is working correctly. It announces street names and when I'm speeding. The only problem is it sees speed cameras and red light cameras as the same thing. However if I make a custom warning like instead of it saying speed camera ahead I change it to red light camera ahead it will call every camera a red light camera. On the map itself I see different icons for the cameras a camera icon for speed camera and a stop light icon for red light cameras. The only problem it announces both cameras as the same camera.

If it showed different icons for speedcam and redlight, it means that it's using the 'type' value in the .dat file. I think if you're not hearing different announcements, it might be
    1. Sygic 16 doesn't support that ability
    2. There is a bug and hopefully Sygic knows about it and will fixed soon
    3. Maybe you set up custom warning setting incorrectly: please give direction on how you did it and maybe others can see any problem

I've had this issue since sygic 14 or 15 I belive. Right now I have it set to default warning so I don't have a custom warning. Must be a bug that doesn't bother others and nobody cared enough to report it.

My last use of Sygic was 14.x since I can set up custom audio for .upi/.rupi (unless I remembered wrong) Once reason why I didn't use 15.x because they removed that capability.
Only problem is .upi/.rupi can't handle directions, but I would think .cam would be directional. I know that .dat has directional data, do you see it has alert in one direction or is it always all direction?

Cool, then I think I will extract the data for use in other proggy like NNG and Garmin. I still need to determine what type=9 (8 of them) and type=11 (1 of them) are.

Good luck with that would you say NNG and Garmin are better then Sygic? I have IGO on my system but for some reason when I have music playing IGO doesn't output any sounds. But I did like IGO very much.

I already extracted data from my .dat for NNG (speedcam.txt) Since the U.S. only uses type that are not 9 nor 11, it's just a matter of trying it on my NextGen proggy. NNG is definitely better than Sygic in term of customization. Sygic was doing pretty good until after 14.x Instead of fixing problem and improving it, they choose to create new UI for 15.x with more problems. I really haven't tried 16.x so I can't comment on it. Garmin interface while simple and clean is not very well customizable, but I have lots of experience with hacking alerts for it. There aren't any user editable source of alerts that are directional capable for NNG. SCDB, PoiPlaza and PocketWorldGPS data all only have omni direction alerts and not very clean (lots of duplicates and wrong data.) I think a lot of people will want Sygic data or Garmin Cyclop data (since they are directional) to be use in NNG (or any other proggy)
The problem with your version of iGO not working with music playing might be configuration. As I remember, when I was using very a old version of iGO8, it was able to play music and it faded out when the Nav announcement need cutting in. But since I have no interest in using that capability now, I have not test/try it on any latest proggy from NNG such as Primo nor NextGen.

Honestly I am satisfied with Sygic. Has great features like it finds parking locations around the area of my destination, living in a city where street side parking is unrealistic this helps a lot. I think my problem with igo has something to do with my cars indash unit. But I guess if Sygic works good why bother fixing igo. Anyway thanks for trying to help me fix the cameras.

NNG also have offline parking locator as well and if you have access to their server via cell server or wifi, you also get it online; but I don't uses it. Anyway, it took over 2 hours to processed your .dat; Sygic reduced duplicates to 5 (one less) The number of alerts also increased from 7268 to 7401 for U.S. You're using car-in-dash unit? How you manage to update your speedcam .dat file?
