Want to try Openstreet maps with Sigic.
Maybe you could only put a few maps for download ( Holland ) ?

If you are looking for a very good Openstreet GPS App:

This is one of the best.

    Link:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Maps are updated monthly.

All info is based on user input.

Keep in mind i tested it only on 14.3.4 Sygic. And you must use even that wcl folder I have uploaded. Os map wont work with tt or nt wcl.

    Pandza,

Thanx for the download. Tried in 14.3.4 worked fine.
Tried also 15.5.9 : does not work.

Noticed that the street where I live is a one way street but the map shows direction the other way.

    Also in this map nld.poi filesize = 1.640 kB + nld.pnm = 385 kB

    Sygic TomTom maps : nld.poi = 11.442 kB and nld.pnm = 3.423 kB

So Sygic poi files are much bigger .. does it mean Sygic has more POI's ?

    Thanx Chambers

Force closed and cleared these three apps now it works.

Can run Beonroad now but it's not great.
When I search for the village where I live it cannot find it, I have to search in a nearby town to find the street where I live :-(

Ye nt maps have more pois but in my case many of them are wrong and incorrect so I am using combination of nt maps with os POIs.

Maybe the simplest thing to do is check out "POIplaza" and get the poi's you need.

Again it is user based and updated by users for users.

Then turn off the poi's that are not correct or missing and add these in it's place.

But you are going to have to know what is missing or incorrect.

It is easy in the city you live in but not so if you go to another town or city some place else.

The same for a different country too.

So I hope this will help you in your quest for the Ultimate POI Database.........

Kinda stupid question - how to add POIs from PoiPlaza in Sygic 15.5.9? I've downloaded some .upi files, but have no idea where to put them?

    EDIT:
Found it: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Thanks chambers

    Cheers,
