I installed the rupi files for a country and when I try to calculate a route it shows me a red crossed speedcams icon.
What the hell do I have to do to get the speedcams ???

And where did you put the .bmp files ?????

Try reading before you get angry.

As I have said many many times before READ READ READ.

There is enough info here in this forum to answer any questions you might have.

We do not need to use "Profanity"

Try asking questions the correct way........ If you do not know how to search for it.

    Try reading this info:

I point out where to put the icons.

    Hi,
Sorry to make you repeat, I want to be on your understanding.
To install the speedcams, I've to create in \Sygic\Maps\import a directory by country in which we put all files .rupi files. Ex:
    \Sygic\Maps\import\BE
    \Sygic\Maps\import\FR
    \Sygic\Maps\import\CH
    \Sygic\Maps\import\ES

Regarding the .bmp icons should I also put them in \Sygic\Maps\import\ by respective countries with the .rupi files?
or to \Sygic\Res\icons\rupi? by respective countries?
    Regards

    Hello,

\Sygic\Maps\import is correct, put only files BE or another one inside "import", .bmp + .rupi
Reboot Sygic, say yes like asked for import new files, no problem if "done".
You can go to see on map BE, speedcams are seen with icons.
I'll check these files sometimes pose a problem for the installation, I don't know why ?
These files are converted .txt to .rupi, yet no errors.

I'am going to do again and test it on the phone.

You only need a folder Import.
Put your Speed Cams POI files in there with the .bmp files in that folder only.
When you start Sygic it will put the correct file in the correct country.
It will make a folder called Sygic\Maps\rupi (if it is not there already) in the map folder.
and in the folder \rupi it will make each country folder the POI's are kept.

    Example:

    Sygic\rupi\bel <--for Belgium

If you look in each folder you will see files with long numbers and the ending ".rupix"

The .bmp files will now be put in the folder Sygic\Res\icons

TNX Bricoman and chambers for yr prompt reply
However, as all countries have the same file names ex: RedLightCam.rupi, RedLightCam.bmp; Speed_60.rupi; Speed_60.bmp, I have to copy one country at a time and reboot for Sygic importation then copy the second country and so on... isn't it?
