For me , best version is 15.2.3 , one of the last that uses Navteq maps. I dont like TomTom maps at all....

I use TomTom maps, since it's better in Western Europe.
And Sygic also working very hard right now, to get a' new algorithm ready, so Sygic Navi will be trust-able as Sygic Truck.

Looks like speedcam changes between releases:
Release 14.x and before uses .upi/.rupi mechanism (not directional; type and speed is done by having different files)
    Release 15.x uses .cam (directional?)
Release 16.x uses SQL database (definitely directional)

Hi Guys, I have bought Sygic Europe (without real trafiic). Iam using it on Android LG G4 - last year flagship, so no slow device. And sadly I must say, the new interface is hoorible, unstable buggy not usable. Lot of mine friends on Android have the same opinion. Old GUI like 14.3.4 was rock stable I have travelled around the Europe with that (Alps, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia and lot more) by car and by morobike, where we were planning our custom roads (flags) and no single crash.
I have Android radio in my car (4 core CPU, 1GB RAM) - dont try the new version of Sygic there... Since is not running on LG G4 (3 GB RAM), there is still crashing... Really messy and buggy application in my point of view...
So very funny is, that I have downloaded cracked 14.3.4 even if I have valid sygic licence, and thx to this forum, Iam downloading latest here maps 2016.03 that are woeking with this old GUI ver 14.3.4 like charm, old gui has more information (4 custom route informations instead of 3 in the new gui) it is rock stable and fast. In my point of view guys form Sygic destroyed the best navi app.

    My point of view ;-)

I have been using v14.3.4 all along.
    It is very customisable.

You can add your own POI's and add your own voices to them.
Also with the built in warnings you can add your own voices to them also.

I ran v14.3.4 week along with my professional GPS and it took the same route on both to where I was going.

It was HERE maps vs TomTom maps drove for 3.5 hours.
No hiccups with the new maps v2016.03

It is user friendly and was one of the best versions they came out with.

Have tried many new versions since then and none of them work as good as v14.3.4

It seems every time they get something right they screw it up in the next 5 or 6 versions.

Fix that only to screw up something else and again takes 5 or 6 versions to fix that.

It has gone on for over 2 years with the "New UI" by now they should of worked out all the bugs.

HUD, Dash Cam are 2 times they can do away with.

I use real dash cams on my front and back windows.

There is no need to add all this extra weight to a GPS app.and never really use.

    Hello,
I am fully agree with mate asprin624.
I am too, still using Sygic 14.3.4 (with latest maps)- which seems to be most stable(specially... while searching a POI) and best UI amongst their releases.
Later upgrades are much unstable so I evaluated all till 16.2.4 then I gave up experimenting with it, after reading user's feedback/review.

    Regards
    dinesh

    Small correction.

v14.3.4 has .cam files they are directional.

Never had a problem with speed cameras in the direction I was driving in.

They work both with a plan to a location or just having the gps app on.
They always tell me of a speed camera in the direction I am driving in.

I have vote for the new GUI.
I love the way Sygic is heading towards, and think we should wait to judge them, until sometime in the new year.
Have also heard rumors that both traffic and route algorithm will be ready in a new re-designed edition.
I think many of you have followed, Sygic through all the Beta versions, and thought no-no what happens for Sygic now, they are completely brain dead right now.
But as I say, let them have a chance to be transformed into the right path is reached.
    Thanks
