Guide Install Sygic problem-free on Android tutorial

There are still people who fail to install sygic problem-free.
    Here again a manual.

1-Shut down Wi-Fi on your smartphone.
2-And open "settings"-"applications manager"-scroll to Sygic and choose "uninstall" and "ok"
3 -Connect your phone to the PC and delete the Sygic folder.
4 -Create a new folder Sygic
5-In this folder you place the dossier Res and Maps (containing the maps that you have chosed and the Wcl and content info and footprint file).
6-Now disconnect your phone from the PC and install the apk .
7- Open wifi on your phone and wait for the necessary is installed and close the program.
8- Do not give some information from you and no registration but just shut off and then start Sygic and do the necessary settings.

If this fails then buy the program.

I've done exactly as you've written, but when opening sygic the first time after installation, it asks me to download the maps, while I already have downloaded and put them in the Maps folder...? And without choosing the maps that you want to download, you can not go further. So should I still download the countries that I want?

    Thanks in advance..

muhozde : only download a very little map like Vatican or Gibraltar.
Then the application will be ok to be opened. Then closed and in usb mode go to see where is the directory with this map.
Maybe, it's not at the same place than the others maps.
In that case, copy the maps on the new directory or cut and copy the directory Sygic (the new) over the old.

Before doing step 2 of uninstalling, make sure you clear data and cache first to get rid of residue from that install. Then you can uninstall apk.

I realize this is old, but does anyone know if this can be done on 1 device and folder used on another. (i.e. use tablet to get folder etc, then move to my android car radio) The wi-fi in my radio is pretty lame and unable to download large files in a reasonable amount of time.

Yes you can transfer Sygic folder. I am doing this. Made one and just copy past it to other devices.

I have been trying to get sygic to work on my Eonon GA5253V Android car stereo.

Have installed and uninstalled it a dozen times trying many different ways. My problem is always the same, it will install, I open the program, it goes thru the initial process, select to country i want to operate in, skip email, then it gets to the map download part (regardless of if i have already loaded maps to the map file), even if i download maps after I proceed it wont display the map, all i get is a black screen with the search bar above it, if i search for an address it has no matches. I can enter settings etc but it will not navigate, display maps and has no address database it seems. also if i restart the app it will do the exact same process again, any settings i changed will rest to default like it is not saving the info.

Anyone have any ideas on my problem? as i purchased the unit specifically to run Sygic and hema maps.

    Thank You
