    Caty,

I was referring to garminunlocker.exe and all.bat. It doesn't seem to be able to unlock 2010 maps. Insert the card into a nuvi and it says unable to unlock maps. When used on 2009 maps it works tho.

1)Place ‘Garminunlocker’ & ‘All’ files together in a map folder
2)Run ‘All.bat’ file (dos batch file)
3)It may take a while, but all locked maps are found and unlocked on the PC
    4)Copy gmapsupp.img to device
5)Start GPS, maps accepted! Detailed road mapping and routing available!

Default Nuvi 200 or 250 firmware

    Hi guys,

Is it possible to load a hacked firmware on the Nuvi 250 or Nuvi 200 to allow it to play TTS Voices ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tusker

I noticed that when I use gmaptool &cgpsmapper to import a *.img file into Mapsource, I loose the "Find Places" option from the menu. I found on the internet that actually when I export from mapsource to an *.img file, search indexing specific to mapsource is lost because this kind of file only needs search indexes for gps application; and this is why when I import a *.img file into mapsource I don't have anymore the find places option. I just what to check here that this is true or not.

if you take an autorouting map (gmapsupp.img) file and put it into mapsource ,that will strip off autorouting data when you transfer it to the other gps, but there is a routable version of cgpsmapper that will allow a gmapsupp.img to be routable in mapsource

So what are you saying is this:
    1. I have a gmapsupp.img file that is routable.
    2. I import it in mapsource -> not routable anymore.
    3. I send it back again to gmapsupp.img -> again not routable. ?

So it is not like I found on the internet, that the mapsource has different search indexes in the maps? There is only one type, and those are lost if I am not using the version of cgpsmapper that you spoke of?
