Firstly be sure to have the last firmware in your gps using Garmin webupdater
then take a look at other good tools for you

Guys I have no clue how to add Maps to my E90. I have used the MapId found through this forum and added them on the Garmin folder in the device. I added them as GMAPSUPP.UNL and continued with GMAPSUPP(2)...until 5. Have I done something wrong? the phone still tells me detail maps are required. please help

Default Unlocking an IMG and creating the unl file

    read with care this
Unlocking an IMG and creating the unl file

Rename the map as gmapsupp.img and unlock it with jetmouse keygen ,creating the unl file with notepad
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

On jetmouse keygen v1.5 put either the 10 digit gps unit id number (will be unlocked only in your gps)or the sd serial # (it will be unlocked in any gps you put the sd card
under-select map product --on the bottom ---custom map set---add the maps FID# also called mapid #
Click generate on the bottom-all those numbers will unlock the map--copy that 25 digit number into the gmapsupp.unl file --- don't add any enter --just 25 digits on the first line ----
on a sd card create a garmin directory--in that directory copy your gmapsupp.unl file (unlock file) and the gmapsupp.img
When you save the .UNL file in Notepad, be sure you set the "Save as type" to "All Files", not "Text Documents".
If you have more than a map ,the map name must be changed read

    Default Garmin Mobile PC

    Hi,
I'm having a problem with Garmin Mobile PC. Device ID will not change after inserting a different card.
I can read the device ID of an sd-card, but only once. Thereafter it always shows the same ID Number regardless of the card inserted. Reading the ID of a second card doesnt seem to work for me. I reinstalled the program but with no go. I installed Mobile PC on another PC to read the ID of my second card. But even my other pc would let me read only the ID of the first card inserted, no other ID afterwards. Any suggestion what might be the problem and how to solve this.

    Cheers

    @HUMBLE BEERS

Garmin Mobile PC uses a "Software Unit ID". That ID has absolutely nothing to do with memory cards and their CID. The software unit ID is calculated at installation time for your specific PC installation.

Garmin Mobile XT for mobile phones can read the memory card CID register.

    Hello,

If I may suggest, it would be worth if in each application sections released such as Garmin Maps sections if there is a section whereby users can announce if the given application works or does not work on their device (name of individual's device, model number etc.) and perhaps have statics to show types of device tested and it works. Overall the application worked on how many device etc.

    Thanks.
