Wink IGO Primo crashing upon opening - Windows CE 6.0 Device

    Hello everyone

I just got a navigation unit for my 2017 Mustang and the Nav is constantly rebooting, I can't even open it up at all. I tried to delete the SAVE folder on it to see if it would fix it but it crashes still, I was wondering if anyone knew what I can do to fix it. My unit runs Windows CE 6.0 and has 1GB of RAM.

Here is the version of PRIMO

    Welcome to forum.
Who knows, we can only guess what is exact reason of crashing. Unfortunately, crashtxt doesn't help a lot. Maybe bad software, maybe bad card, maybe bad content...
I can only recommend to you, to use excellent, proven version of Primo, so called [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Use version for your device resolution - 800x480 (working links at the end of the thread).
Download from this forum desired maps.
    Regards

Your device reports "TotalUseableMemory: 38 MB, 148 KB, 0 B" and all maps are very old.
You have installed maps of Canada, complete USA, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Uruguay and Venezuela
I doubt you travel trough all these countries with your car

First clean up system, remove all maps (and other files) not needed, clean save folder and restart.
If doesn't help, only solution is as Boki suggested, but without all those stuff you don't need

    Good luck

Thanks buddy, I will try like you suggested. Yes I know the maps are old and i don't know why it has all the maps of other countries i told them north america only haha.

What do you mean by clean the system? I can't see Windows CE too free up any memory as it's a car stereo, is there any programs I can run to be able to see the memory running as I can configure the navigation button for any EXE file.

    Thanks,
    Raymond

I think all is located at your SD card, isn't it? Software and maps.

Hey everyone I managed to get another version of the system to work. I've tried dozens of versions here that all have the same problem, it ends up rebooting over and over again. It's called IGO NextGEN but thing is it only has the USA maps but I am in Canada.

I downloaded the Canada HERE maps Q3 and extracted them to the folders:
    Building/Map/PhoneME/POI/Speedcam

I load up the GPS but it only recognizes the US maps, and when I choose country it only has USA and no Canada. Am I supposed to add a license also for the Canada maps, if so these are the licenses in the Licenses folder I have:

    Thanks everyone!

NextGen for WinCE need license for content because there is currently no "fully" cracked proggy yet. The license has to be specific to your region, for the correct time frame and support the features you wanted.
Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.

It's alright I got it working, I downloaded the 2015 Q3 HERE maps for Canada and I got it to work now! But I have another issue now with the voices that tell you when to turn etc.

I made a video below of the problem, it appears the voices are garbled and some times you can barely hear anything. I fiddled with the audio settings alot but adjusting the volume lower for voice etc. but it has the same problem.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Is there a fix for this problem, thanks everyone!
