I downloaded CN South America 2015.30 and it worked with my Nuvi 55, the same happened with CN North America 2015.30; unfortunately it doesn't work with CN Europe NTU 2015.30. So, if I understood this post, I have to wait for the NT version, correct?

yes, but no JCV for your nuvi with NT map.

    Spoiler: hint
If you are not interested in Unicode labels try to change NTU map Codepage with Imgtool to 1252.
It depends on the region you are interested in showing in your nuvi
Codepage for cyrillic is 1251 , 1253 Greek.
if you want all you must load 3 maps lol.

Not strange at all. catymag was referring to the EU map in response to your post. There is no xx series compatible JCV for EU NT, only for EU NTU. For the rest of the world [NA, AU, SAm etc etc] the map version is NT only and theres no NTU so the JCV files issued for xx series naturally match the NT.

The only way at present for you to get a working JCV for EU is to buy the NTU and then download the JCV from here [because it won't be supplied even if you buy the map unless it's the mapping area loaded as OEM].

You have a chance, if your NT map contains a map signature, and its FID is less than 2200, for example: Navicom Roads of Russia RF TOPO v6.19 with FID 1790
