    weel Garmin Basecamp Portable

A 'portable' version of Garmin BaseCamp v4.6.2 2016-02.
It run's from a USB drive and uses Garmin images on the drive.
ReadMe file included, extract Garmin folder in root of your USB drive.
    Packed as 7zip self-extracting file.

You can use your Garmin images and *.gmap folders on any PC.
An old method, but usefull for some travel situations.

    Warning:
The Library "My Collection" is not portable!
The Library are your routes, tracks and waypoints.
    This is stored in %appdata%\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\x.y
Export to GPX files if you need them on the USB.

BaseCamp Only working with 2D switch in my windows 10 (x64) laptop, in the normal (3D) startup gives an obscure error about some .sys file missing after the logo and aborts.

Tried it in my PC & laptop with Windows 10 Home using City Navigator 2016.30 & all available Greek maps, no problems whatsoever.

Maybe you should be looking at your video card capability as the possible culprit.

Worked with Windows 8.1, works now with Google Earth in both OpenGL/Direct X. Doesn't work even when installing from the file downloaded from Garmin. It's a common dual Intel HD graphics 3000/AMD Radeon HD 7400M. Probably a problem with the current stock Microsoft drivers and the 'library'? used by Garmin.

I had the same problem with 10 and my Nvidia driver, I solved it this way: Uninstalled Nvidia drivers, cleaned everything about Nvidia with Revo uninstaller, downloaded drivers from Nvidia, installed it again in airplane mode (important to be offline installing).
    All working fine now.

SOLVED - Going to the Radeon Control Panel - Configure Switchable graphics and manually added the BaseCamp application to the High Performance settings apps list!
