Am i the only one thinking that they have a "bad software year" ? If it was only days or a couple of months i don't believe that there would be a problem ...

I think you can have both 'a bad hair day' and 'bad hair days'. It happens, that's just bad luck. The guys at Garmin are definitely having a bad software YEAR! [The apprentices are running the whole show now methinks .....]
Didn't someone say something about it calling home when starting?

I have 2015.10 NTU on my Nuvi1490 and of cource I have it at Mapsource and use BaseCamp 4.3.1

For searching address at my Nuvi as I have already said [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I must use Latin characters for address and Greek characters for cities... (please don't tell me again that my device is not full compatible with unicode map I just use it and I will continue to use it)

But at BaseCamp, I can use Latin or Greek characters for address and only Latin characters for cities (map from scroll down menu of allready intalled at Mapsource, not from USB connected Nuvi)

    How do you explain that?

Address and cities section is different in map. By the way the same bugs often present in device even with support of NTU. It is never known what language you can use for typing on - local, selected in menu or English transliteration...

Yes, I had no problems installing it but I first removed the previous version with CCleaner.

    Does your Basecamp update automatically?
Mine certainly does not and I even can't find the option...
