If you mean the stuff in your library, no. It's stored somewhere else, likely the Application Data or AppData directory.

Everything is OK with the update (Vista SP2)
Uninstalled older version, deleted folder, installed 4.3.1
I didn't have .Net Framework 4.5 installed so BaseCamp downloaded and installed it for me.
Restarted PC, run BaseCamp_431.exe again, and BaseCamp was installed.
MyCollection form older version is intact, thank you Caty and Strephon!
Fresh news from Garmin's developer team
As a bit of information, it appears (without confirmation) that the installer team, in an attempt to increase the performance of installers, instituted a version check of DLL's that come with BaseCamp. Because we updated to the new C-Runtime, and because the versions of these DLL's have not changed, we are running into a miss-match of run time libraries. In the past, it appeared (again without confirmation) that this was not an issue and version strings weren't taken into consideration when installing over top an older version. They just blew away the DLL's and replaced them with the ones in the installer. This is why we are running into this issue. We are working on this VERY quickly and we should hopefully have an update in the next day or two. Rough estimate.Spoiler: source
New Universal Patcher for Garmin Basecamp.
My Collection will be lost.Do we have to backup MyCollection somehow before uninstall?
I was wondering if .jnx files installed in BaseCamp collection should be backed-up and should be restored after uninstalling 4.2.5 and installing 4.3.1.
New installer under official link on Garmin. Not tested in default of required OS

Ok, I downloaded the installer, uninstalled BC, uninstalled City Navigator, run Ccleaner, reinstalled BC (all ok) reinstalled CN.
After all this BC doesn't open and I get this error:
Not possible to have a decent installer!
