NO problem here with English version 4 today. I suggest a clean install, remove every old version, clean registry with something like CCleaner and reinstall. Remove your language from lang. folder and use it in English

I did exactly that, removed old version, cleaned the registry with CCleaner, maybe it's the language file.
Yesterday I used v4 a dozen times, today it suddenly refused to start.

I can set it to English but still no option where to install maps.
On Garmin Express page still version 3.2.29 for download.

I hope that they will soon release new version that will work.

I'm with you Mapperoni. My programming experience is nil, so this comment is strictly made as a consumer of software: I can't believe that Garmin is prepared to continue dishing up this kind of crap to us. It's now well over 2 years since they gave us this poisoned program as an early joke 'Christmas gift' in Dec 2012. It seems it was in deep Alpha then and this new version is no more than Beta now, wot the hell is wrong with the programmers? I felt they were getting it pretty right with the previous GUI version 3.2.29. To my lay mind, moving the version to 4 means a new build not just an add-on enhanced GUI. Seems it's one step forward and 10 steps back though. Are they again User Acceptance Testing in the broadest possible sense?
