Voyager, you and Loly may have been kidding but are probably not far wrong in that they may not want to say what they're fixing and why. We've all seen real changelogs that are so vague and not just from Garmin either. You do have to wonder about it, and be a little suspicious of why they aren't saying what's being fixed though. I commented on that in post #10 for the first update to v2.0.1.

Remember, when the changelog is too short they always add :◦Improved software stability.

    I have installed Garmin Express.
Works OK but it does not see my Lifetime Maps.
When I click Device Reinstall the message is "You Have No Maps to Reinstall."
Everything else seems to Work. I have done Uninstall and Re-install a number of times.
GarminMapUpdater sees my Lifetime Maps and So does My Dashboard and LifetimeUpdater .
    Anyone have any ideas ?

    My sentiments exactly!

I do wonder why Garmin keep coming up with new 'helper' programs. The backup function of this is probably helpful for newer users though. I'll stick with MU too for the time being.

Gave that post a 'like' Caty, not because I like what you found out, but because you did find it out. It seems logical that they would not have so many programs available. I just tried Express to do a LM update on the 3790 and it said no updates available (true, it has Whereis AUNZ 2013.20 on board, and i had forgotten there's no 2013.30 for Whereis, only for Navteq), but it didn't offer to reinstall the same version:

    expresss

So, i killed Express and switched to MapUpdater. It did offer to let me dl again though so I could get the gmap on computer:

    mapupdater

But then of course nagged me to install LifeTime Updater:

    mapupdaer1

So, it looks like we'll be stuck with LTU & GE only. RIP MU soon. [sigh ...]

So if something go wrong, when you download map, you cant download again with GE.
This is so stupid from Garmin.
I will use mapupdater to the end
