    Garmin Express 2.2.14 can now be used to install maps in MapSource or BaseCamp

    Select from the menu
    1. device
    2. advanced
    Would you like to install the map files on your computer for use with other Garmin software
    (such as MapInstall, MapSource, and BaseCamp?

    These links are to different program versions. Program from the first link (GarminExpress.exe) is version 17.
    Second one (GarminExpressInstaller.exe) is real version 20.

    Waiting for version 99.99.99 'cos they may get it right by then. Best advice imo is to simply not use this program. A combination of WebUpdater and MapUpdater will give [at least] equivalent results with less risk. Even GE's so-called 'back up' is misleading so better to do manual files and folder backups and NV also yourself..

    I think so! Or no? Historic analogy - Basecamp is very good program but if you want to really do a something you must use Mapsource.
    Love your wife? Buy yourself a GPS for answering to her favorite question: "Dear, where are you?".
