So other than that rare case, you should be able to pick a consistent set of IDs to display for a single map product.

    But if an img file contains multiple products, each with its own set of IDs, you will have trouble to display all sets of IDs with your current GUI. What GMapTool does is to print them in a list instead, one line for each map tile or subfile.
    As I was a bit lazy, I just added the necessary class to decode TYP file .. that's why if there is not TYP file, I don't get the information :p ;
    As I find GMapTool a super extra nice product, I don't want to re-develop the wheel, so I will just check other sub-file to get the information, and leave the case empty in the case I find different FID for sub-files ; maybe I will add a messageBox asking to open the file in GMapTool to get detailled information about the img file if more than one FID has been found.

    Send to you in PM my WinHex script for changing CP in IMG file. I think you seek through it for HEX address without problem and it help you. I use this script for Israel map.

    Ladies and Gentlemen :

    Keep an eye on the forum, coz the new version of PGFT 2.1.0.4 will arrive very soon (somewhere this weekend or next week).

    What's new in that version :

    - corrected the information returned by gmap3d (CP FID and PID)
    - added unlock of mapsource map (was simple to do .. so added)
    added ability to update the registry with missing map (still usable in Mapsource, as mapsource is just scanning the maps folder)
    - little optimization of the code
    - some correction

    here is a screen capture of the new mapsource tab :

    .. Final release could change a little ..

    @Doc_Koordinate

    JNX format files are locked to the device ID. Do you know how to unlock these files?

    Two ways presented [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] are not applicable in this case.

    Will see how to manage the valid gmap folders ; will probably add a column that will indicate if the map is a valid gmap directory.

    In the meantime, I will correct last minute bugs :

    When clicking on the map column to select all locked map , when you deselect manually all map the button keep it's enable status.

    (anyway : for those who want more detailled information about img file, there are some hidden function : by double-clicking on the "Current file :" label before drag and droping a file, it will give you more information. There are some other hidden function : yours to discover :p)
