    I did some research :

The copyright character is interpreted by windows only if it is preceded by the character (C2), as windows works with unicode. When I do the conversion to the correct character set, having 20 c2 a9 (space followed by the unicode will correctly display " ", and that is the case for the Kostroma gpi file. Unfortunately it is not the case for the mpfull gpi file, as the copyright symbol is directly preceded by the space (20 a9) ; in that case the character set conversion will display the "" symbol instead of the Copyright one.
The funny part is that the "CZ GPSTravelGuide" has 2 copyright symbol : one is correctly displayed and not the second one, due to the explication above.

I will look further if i can correct the windows misinterpretation in the next release. I will add at the end of all copyrights the CodePage and 2 country letter code so it will be easier to know how it as been encoded.

Took me some times, but find below a new version of Protected GPI File Toolkit.

    What's new :

    - corrected some bugs with the Copyright sign
    - added some tooltips on some buttons for people that doesn't know what to do in the application.

Here are the links (first page updated too) :

Protected GPI file toolkit1801_x64.zip : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Protected GPI file toolkit1801_x86.zip : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

As usual : .net 4.0 needed.

    Enjoy

Version number is as follow :

    current release 1.8.0.1 xNN : last digit 1 = .net 4 ; 3 = .net 3 ; xNN platform release x86 or x64.

    Cheers
