Need some help with this please. I have used the tutorial to create the SampleVoice.vpm and a lot of .ogg files.

Copied the file to my device and when started it said files extracted. I do not see the voice to select amogst all the other voices on the device.

I have noticed that if I open the Garmin English_American voice in VoiceEditor it extracts the voice files as .wav files.

Am i doing something wrong that i cant see the sample voice to select on my device

A Garmin Content Toolkit can't edit *.vpm files. For this use a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Hello All!

So I have created a .vpm voice file using the toolkit but I cannot get it to show up on my garmin as one of the available voices. I have even just used the sample voice data to create a .vpm but that one wont show up either. Any ideas why this might happen?

Maybe I'm stupid. They say you can create your own voices with Garmin Toolkit. I used the Voice creator and followed the tutorial and created a Sample voice. So what? Unless I'm mistaken or missed something it is not a voice that I have created but the program did it. I had no control over it and the voice created can not be edited. So the way I see it I can create a couple of voices BUT they will all be the same with maybe just different names.

Has anyone successfully recorded his/her own voice with this, not using the tutorial sample? If so please give step by step way hoe you did it. As said I created a voice using the tutorial, but will like to record my own voice and save it. Please I am not lazy, just a noob and the help file is beyond me....:sorry2:
