You can just install VirtualBox on your "strange" OS (not really strange only for Garmin it is) and just install a vanilla Windows XP of Windows 7 in it. Use that for your MapSource / BaseCamp files and with USB support your good to go. I'm using above setup for some time now because i'm a bit of an open-source freakisch person.

No. This is for unlocking gmap and family map folders [PC install maps], that's all it does. You can change the mapset name with numerous other tools though. Two of them are [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Unlock_Mapset_2.exe worked fine up until NT NA 2015.10. As of 2015.20 it no longer unlocks. I goes through the process, but doesn't unlock anything. Perhaps I am not placing it in the correct directory? I am using Win 7

You should being running it in the gmap folder if you want to unlock it entirely: C:/ProgramData/Garmin/Maps/City Navigator North America NT 2015.20.gmap. If you just want to unlock it for BaseCamp and MapInstall run it in the Product1 folder which is in the gmap folder. Try right-clicking the exe and running it as administrator. If still not working for you try [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
