Is it so hard to write which file is missing (from error message) ?

There is no file missing in installation, it works perfect on Windows XP, only in Windows 7 (and possibly in Vista) is one file missing, so it's not problem with program, but with OS.

If it is file "richtx32.ocx", answer is in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    It's not working.
Every time I try opening/importing a csv file, or save a new POI, I get an error message : "Run-time error '380' Invalid property value".

I run Windows XP with all service packs and updates.

    last version is 4.85
Latest help file: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Changes from v4.80 to v4.84

•Added Sort by Category. Works better with single category per POI.
    •Fixed a runtime error.
•Fixed a runtime error when saving to MGLN (Norvegian Locale)
•Force decimal dot as decimal separator when reading/saving to XLS file.
•Improved EXIF parsing for geocoded JPG files.
    •Cleared a residual image when doing a File->New
•Corrected a route issue when more than one route in a file.
•Corrected an "end of road" optimization issue.
•Fixed a route issue when reading route from Favorites.
    •Added a couple shortcut keys.
    •Fixed Ctrl-F conflict with F key
•Corrected jump to next POI starting with pressed letter in main POI window to ensure proper POI was selected.

    Changes from v4.70 to v4.80

•COOL! Added "Save as" Magellan .MGLN file (Got it! At last!)
•COOL! Added button in POI Edit window to MAXIMIZE/MINIMIZE the Map.
•COOL! Import a gpx file with route. You can view the route2 using View All POIs on MAP.
•COOL! Find all POIs close to a route (in Edit menu) by specifying a distance from the route.
•COOL! In the POI Edit window, you can right click on the map and find new functions to move or center the marker.
•Remember all EPE's user windows position. When EPE restarts, each window will be restored at their last position.
•Removed confirmation pop-up when clicking "Replace All" in the Field Replace window.
•Improved "Sort by Best Route" when in non-rural areas (unknown route issue)
•In POI List window, typing a letter will make the list scroll to the next POI starting with that letter. When the last POI name with that letter is reached, it wraps around to the start.
•Fixed the Arrow Up and Arrow Down to scroll in the POI List window.
•Added Home and End key to jump to first and last POI in the POI Edit window.
•Added directives for the StreetView(tm) view in the View menu.
•Added a right click menu item in POI List to open selected POI in GoogleEarth(tm).
•Added a right click menu item in POI List to open selected POI in StreetView(tm).
•Yet another fix with special characters in POI name when reading from an OV2 file.
•Renamed POI to have unique name when saving to MGLN.
•When exporting to Excel, limited max length of a column to 911 characters to workaround a bug in Excel 2003. This means Description column may be clipped if more than 911 characters.
•In Find Duplicates, logic is changed and EPE will delete Checked POIs (not the Unchecked ones).
•Corrected a bug when extracting POIs with multiple categories from the Favorites.
•Forced UTF-8 encoding when saving to Favorites.
•Added POI Name in title bar of the POI Edit window. Useful when map is maximized.

Latest version: Extra POI Editor V4.88

    Changes from v4.85 to v4.88

    • Removed "Nuvi 760" label by user request
    • Fixed a scroll issue preventing from selecting the last 1-3 POIs.
    • Added command-line parameter -reset to clear the registry before running EPE. Just type: "Extra_POI_Editor -reset" in a DOS box and this will clear the registry of any invalid EPE entry. This can be used when your EPE does not appear on the screen anymore or if you have a runtime error.

hi everyone! Whenever I use the Garmin POI Uploader to load the .gpx I created using the Extra POI Editor, I get this "There was an unexpected error during the creation of custom POI file."

Guys please enlightened me regarding my query above. I just noticed that when I create poi's with coordinates from Singapore (example Longitude 1.353611, Latitude 103.989488), the internal google map of Extra POI Editor warns me that its running my internet explorer slow hence the location will not appear and I just have to click OK. After saving this as .gpx and running the Garmin POI Uploader, it will say "There was an unexpected error during the creation of custom POI file."

But the thing is, when I create poi's from Kuwait (example Longitude 47.99403, Latitude 29.26737), everything works just fine. What is wrong with this?
