Hi,
Try oruxmaps, it is free and work with a lot of maps format
Just having gotten a smartphone, I had high hopes to find lots of Android navigation apps that are at least as good as what I was used to from my old Nüvi navigator and its accompanying Windows programs.
Turns out to be difficult to find such a beast.
Wishlist:
Offline maps, preferably Navigon's/Garmin's (OSM alone won't do).
Record and transfer tracks to my computer. Preferably in a somewhat standardised format, and it would be a bonus if the app would show the tracks on the map ("wait, isn't this the road we came on?").
"Onboard computer" functions; logging of distance travelled, max/mean speed, et c.
Easy transfers of POIs to/from the phone/computer, again preferably in a somewhat standard format.
Speedcam warnings, preferably updated separately from the maps (like Garmin's Cyclops speedcams).
It would be nice if it also could handle hiking with good topo maps, such as "Friluftskartan Pro" for Sweden. Otherwise I'm welcoming tips on such apps, too.

Navigon is very good navigation. I recommend it to you.
