    Ok, thanks for tests Sergio.

As he has a related model [nuvi 55], the locked FID 700/900 should also work for BMW GSA LC with latest fw.

Whenever you can test is fine thanks as your report may confirm the fix for 5x/6x series.

Curious as to why the changed FIDs work in sergio2's nuvi 68 but not in Juniorhedez's nuvi 2597. Reports are welcomed from any other members with problems using UNLOCKED cyclops with latest firmwares, saying if FID 700/900 + unl file work or not.

Garmin Nuvi 55 updated to the latest firmware 5.40.

Garmin Cyclops Unlocked doesn't work. That is cyclops gpi files unlocked with FID 65535 PID 255 RgnID 255 VenID 0, doesn't work.

If you get the Garmin Cyclops Locked files and generate an unlock code with the Jet Mouse Garmin Unlock Generator 1.5 with:

    FID 700 PID 1 RgnID 0 VenID 0 + UNL file - > It works
    FID 900 PID 9 RgnID 0 VenID 0 + UNL file - > It works

So there, we go back to using good old unl files to get the cyclops files working again

Thanks for that persep, i think we can now safely declare use of locked FID700/900 + unl file as a fix for latest firmware in affected 5/6x devices.

Further tests results welcome with others such as nuvi 25x9/26x9/27x9 running V8.40 firmware [C4 and non-C4 issued 27 Jun 16]. Also for any other devices with recent fw updates, e.g. Zumo 3x5 & 595 both had V3.20 issued 15 Jun 16; nuviCam & dezlCam went to V3.20 and dezl 570 & 770 went to V4.50, all issued 29 Apr 16 so tests might be useful there and in any other devices with recent fw updates.

@Neil can you deliver me the files, because I can't download them. I got a lot of spam ('create a facebook profile....') when I want to click the links below

    Greetings

    @BMW GSA LC
I can only do so much without your device's Unit ID number. I assume you want the cyclops for Belgium so i've converted that GPI file to FID 700. You'll need to generate the unlock code yourself and paste it into an UNL file. See behind the spoiler:
    Spoiler:
You'll need to find your 10 numeral Unit ID. Several methods: From the GarminDevice.xml in Garmin folder [even from a very old files backup], look for the UID shown as <Id>xxxxxxxxxx</Id> near the beginning. From your device: Tools>Settings>System>About [or similar sequence]; or go to the hidden menu by holding the battery symbol for ~ 6 seconds, then go to 'Version Information' page by pressing Next/lower RH corner until you reach there and look for 'Unit ESN' which is the UID. Or if using a mircroSD card, go to 'Data Card Test Page' in that same menu to get the Card ID [called 'Serial'] which may be as few as 7 characters. Then proceed as follows:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Extract this ZIP file [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], you'll see "safety_camera_Belgium_Luxembourg.gpi" and "safety_camera_Belgium_Luxembourg.unl". Open the latter in NotePad and copy/paste the code generated by JM then save. If you use "Save As" in NotePad, be sure you set the "Save as type" drop-down to "All Files", not "Text Documents" or instead of "*.unl" you will have a file named "*.unl.txt" which is unusable. Both the GPI and UNL files must be named the same other than the extension and placed together in the same POI folder in device or card.

Get Jetmouse here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Tried this many times with no luck on nuvi 52 , nuvi 55 and nuvi 3597. The garmin reads the cyclopes under (about) menue however it is not showing any camera when running simulation mode. Tried both locked with unl file and unlocked cyclopes, both didnot work. Latest firmware is being used.
